Artificial Intelligence-based CylancePROTECT® will be shown in Cylance® Booth 9908 on the HIMSS16 exhibition floor in Las Vegas, Nev.

Irvine, California, Feb. 24, 2016 – Cylance®, the company that is revolutionizing cybersecurity through the use of artificial intelligence to proactively prevent advanced persistent threats and malware, will be sharing its cyber threat intelligence expertise in a session titled, “Threats in a Connected Health World” at the 2016 HIMSS Conference and Exhibition. Cylance managing director of healthcare and embedded systems Rob Bathurst will lead the session. The company will also demonstrate its industry-leading, artificial intelligence-based endpoint security product at HIMSS, which will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., from Feb. 29 – March 4, 2016.

“Healthcare IT professionals are well aware of security issues inherent in the Internet of Things (IoT) and the long-standing security challenges surrounding sensitive data stored on endpoints,” said Greg Fitzgerald, chief marketing officer at Cylance. “HIMSS offers us the perfect opportunity to share our latest research and best practices, along with a groundbreaking artificial intelligence approach that is currently stopping cyber attacks on the endpoint before they can ever execute.”

At booth 9908 in the Exhibit Hall, Cylance will demonstrate how CylancePROTECT® works and will also host a “Find the Cyber Threat” Medical Device challenge on Feb. 29.

About Cylance® Inc.

Cylance is the only company to offer a preventive cybersecurity solution that stops advanced threats and malware at the most vulnerable point: the endpoint. Applying a revolutionary artificial intelligence approach, the Cylance endpoint security solution, CylancePROTECT®, analyzes the DNA of code prior to its execution on the endpoint to find and prevent threats others can’t, while using a fraction of the system resources associated with endpoint antivirus and detect and respond solutions that are deployed in enterprises today.
